Double Turnout Starter Riser - Paint Grade
This Paint Grade Starter Step Riser is used under our double turnout starting steps and is unfinished with a smooth maple or poplar veneer - perfect for painting. This starter riser is designed to be used in installations with starter steps up to a 48" throat size (please contact us if you require a larger riser). Most installations will only require one starter step and one starter riser per staircase. The throat length will be assumed to match the starter tread in your order.

Q:My tread lenght is 68 inches. Is the riser size 7 5/8" with a throat size of 39" - 40 " wide?

A:The height of the starter riser is 7 1/4". The throat size can fit a 39" - 40". However, we do not recommend purchasing a starter riser without the starting step. We review the orders and make sure that the starter riser on the order matches up with the starter step.
