• Bob in Texas installed a combination of 7 custom matched Maple closed stair treads and 11 color matched left return stair treads along with 4 feet of custom matched maple landing tread on the edge of his intermediate landing. He also installed 25 feet of custom matched 6510 Maple handrail for his handrails. All of these products were matched to his hand scraped maple flooring. As you can see below, the end result looks like something straight out of a magazine!

• Ray in New York installed 10 Red Oak Natural retro stair treads. This is the completed project. Very nice material,easy to install. The oak treads were applied over existing pine stairs. The risers were made from a 4x8 sheet of 1/4" oak plywood. Three coats of Minwax semi-gloss clear was applied. It looks great, Ray and thanks for the photos.

He then installed custom ordered Mexican tile to install on the risers in a repeating pattern. He installed his stair treads and tiled risers himself and, as you can plainly see, his staircase has become a magnificent focal point of his home!
