I installed these in my townhouse with previously carpeted stairs. I had to match the existing flooring which was Bruce oak in gunstock and the butterscotch color treads are the closest match I could find from any company. My boyfriend is decently skilled at home renovations and I was shocked at how easy these were to install. To do 11 stairs took us about 4 hours including going back and forth from my house to his house to cut them. My only hang-up is I used 4 return treads and we had to cut them for depth (my stairs are only 10" deep, not the 11" that they come in) and I had to cut off the mitered end, so right now the rough cut is exposed. My BF is going to try to use the excess to make a return so it looks nice, but even without it I am very pleased with the results. These are pricey but well worth it! I plan on ordering the matching handrail and newel post to complete the look. (Posted on 5/28/13)

I was leary about ordering stair trends online. But since the product had really good reviews I gave it a try and I am glad I did. The quality of the treads far exceeded my expectation and my contractor that installed them was equally impressed. My only regret is that I don't have another stair case to refurbish. I would recommend this product to anyone that wants to refinish their tired old stairs. I am very pleased and so is my wife. (Posted on 9/7/12)

Glad I found this site. I recently installed pergo newland oak in our upstairs, 4 bedrooms and a hallway, then decided to tackle the steps. The color matches perfectly to the pergo we have as well as the bruce flooring we have on our lower floor. Shipping and pricing was really good and these are high quality stair treads.
