  1. Q:What is the finish material on the treads?
    A:These treads are coated with our clear Aluminum Oxide top coat - "Diamond Coat II". The finish is crystal-clear to allow the natural color of the wood to show through. The gloss level is on the lower end of semi-gloss. Here is a link for more details on our finish: http://www.stair-treads.com/diamond-coat-ii/ We usually suggest ordering a sample of the wood tread so you can see and compare the finish or color to the flooring you're matching.
