Brazilian Cherry Ambering Process

     Brazilian Cherry is a species of wood that gradually changes color from the sun's UV rays; this is called the ambering process. You can see this for yourself! Place a sample of Brazilian Cherry, or a tread, in direct sunlight for a couple days. Cover a piece, or half, with a piece of paper. After only a day or two you will be able to see the color difference from the side under the paper compared to the side exposed to the sun!
