No - the only other steps you may need would be to patch and nail holes (if there are any) with a prefinished wood floor putty or wood filler. Besides that, the treads are ready to be walked on and do not require any additional finish coats after installation.

Each stair tread and riser is sold individually and there is no minimum order or need to order in a particular multiple.

The best way to get the flooring that matches, is once you order the Red Oak Sample Pack and pick the color you need, take the sample to a hardwood flooring store and show them the sample you are trying to match.
