This Red Oak Starter Riser is used under our double turnout starting steps and is available unfinished or prefinished. This starter riser is designed to be used in installations with starter steps up to a 48" throat size (please contact us if you require a larger riser). Most installations will only require one starter step and one starter riser per staircase. The throat length will be assumed to match the starter tread in your order.
